Upcoming Bikes in India 2010 - New Bike Launches in India

The two-wheeler industry in India has gained momentum in the last few years. Upcoming Bikes in India in 2010 will be technologically advanced, with focus on comfort and optimum fuel efficiency. Upcoming bikes in 2010 will include a wide range of traditional 100 cc to 125 cc bikes and the powerful and stylish ones that entice young bikers. Upcoming bikes in 2010 will therefore include two wheelers ranging from the really affordable to premium class bikes.

Following are a list of bikes slated for launch in india 2010:

 Bajaj Bikes India: Bajaj bikes span the market with Bajaj Motor Cycles, and Bajaj Scooters. Bajaj bikes address two categories namely motorbikes, and scooters. Bajaj two wheelers run on petrol and give good mileage. They are known for great mileage and are a favorite amongst the young and speed loving bikers.

- Bajaj Discover 150cc: Bajaj Discover 150cc was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2008 and it has a sporty design and new engine.
- Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i UG 4.5 2010: Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i, is the fifth model of the Bajaj discoverer series. It has new styling features like aggressive headlight and stylish black plastic side, adding to its appeal.
- Bajaj Pulsar 220 S: Advertised as The Fastest Indian, Bajaj Pulsar 220 S is an ideal bike for speed loving riders. It is the new variant of now defunct Pulsar 200cc and is equipped with 32 venturi carburetor, distinct headlight and exhaust canister.

Harley Davidson Bikes: 
 
 Harley Davidson is an American motorcycle manufacturer headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was incepted during the twentieth century and was one of the two motorcycle companies to survive the great depression. Harley-Davidson maintains a loyal brand community. It is active through clubs, events, and a museum. The licensing of the Harley-Davidson logo accounts for almost 5% of the company's net revenue.

- Harley Davidson CVO:
Harley Davidson CVO belongs to a high end limited version. Harley Davidson CVO is also the priciest and stateliest bike of the bunch.
- Harley Davidson Dyna: Harley Davidson Dyna is one of the affordable series and is easily identifiable by their exposed dual rear shocks and under seat battery box. Akin to many of the latest Harley models there is focus on reducing seat heights.
- Harley Davidson Sportster: Harley Davidson Sportster is a top selling sporty bike at a fairly affordable price. It offers low comfortable seats and smooth clutch effort. The Harley Davidson Sportster features 6 models for the year 2010.
- Harley Davidson Touring: H-D's touring motorcycles are amongst the most comfortable to ride, and also the most fun particularly on curvy pavement. The touring line for 2010 includes the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Road Glide Custom, and the Street Glide Trike.
- Harley Davidson VRSC: Harley Davidson VRSC is a bike that looks like it is straight out from the Batsman's stable. It runs on a 1250cc Revolution V-twin engine which generates a power of 125hp and 8250 rpm. It sports ESPFI, 36° fork angle, 5-speed tranny and four-valve heads.

Honda Bikes India :

Honda bikes and scooters are manufactured directly by Honda Company. It came to the Indian shores in 2004 with the launch of the sleek Honda Unicorn and it has followed up its success with groundbreaking technology in scooters and bikes.

- Honda CB Shine: Honda CB Shine is the upgraded version of Honda CB. The focus has been to meet stricter BSIV emission norms. Maintenance free viscous battery is included in the Honda CB Shine. It ships in the Kick-Drum-Spoke, Self-Disc-Alloy and Self-Drum-Alloy versions.
- Honda CB Twister: Honda CB Twister is a 110 c bike that generates maximum power of 9 Bhp at 8000 rpm with maximum torque of 9 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It is available in five enticing shades.
- Honda CB Unicorn: Honda CB Unicorn delivers 13.3bhp with 1.3kgm at 5500rpm torque. The 55-60 kmph mileage is ideal for Indian roads. It has a 5 gear engine with a mileage of 55-60km. It is one of the most affordable bikes in the 1500cc segment.
- Honda CBF Stunner 2010: Honda CBF Stunner 2010 forayed in January this year and is loaded with innovative features like tachometer, black coated engine, half chain cover, viscous air filter and new cover under the engine.
- Honda Dio 2010: Honda Dio 2010 comes with a mild cosmetic makeover, zany look color scheme and graphics. The engine has also been tweaked to enable 2010 Bharat Stage 4 emission norms.
- Honda VFR1200F: Extremely elegant in looks and excelling in technology, that is the Honda VFR1200F for you. The cylinder heads are compact, allowing the V-angle to be reduced to 76 degrees and VFR1200F crank looks like the "360-degree" crank on the RC45. Honda has positioned Honda VFR1200F, particularly for serious and high-mileage riders.

Royal Enfield Bikes India : 

 Enfield motorbikes have been thundering through Indian roads since the fifties. Enfield embarked on its journey in the two wheeler segment with the Enfield Bullet 350 cc motorbikes. The Enfield mini Bullet 200 cc went into the market in 1973 at about the same time when lightweight Japanese bikes with high fuel economy started to arrive. In its initial days, Enfield faced competition steadily, with bikes like the Enfield Silver Plus Explorer which became instantly successful. Enfield Motors was acquired by Eicher in 1994 and rechristened as Royal Enfield Motors. The much awaited Royal Enfield Bikes 2010 include:

- Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Military: The new Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Military will get the same fuel-injected, 500cc single cylinder air-cooled bike, which generates 28hp of power.
- Royal Enfield Electra Twinspark: Royal Enfield Electra Twinspark delivers superb performance, reliability and fuel-efficiency. It pumps 19.8bhp of power at 5250rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm at 4000rpm. It is likely to reach speed of 120kmph.

Suzuki Bikes India :

Suzuki two wheelers first forayed into India in collaboration with TVS motors. Ever since, TVS Suzuki mopeds have ruled the mopeds niche. The 100 cc Ind-Suzuki was the first Suzuki Bike on Indian roads. However the Indian roads witnessed the likes of the very elegant Suzuki Samurai, Suzuki Shogun, Suzuki Max 100, and Suzumi Max 100 R motorbikes.

- Suzuki Bandit 1250: Although first launched in the nineties it remained unchanged till last year. In 2010, the latest Suzuki Bandit 1250 surfaced with a 19litre fuel tank, low stressed engine. It has the new 255cc liquid cooled gem with compression up from 9.5:1 by a full point 10.5. Fuel injection and 6 speed transmission are the other features.
- Suzuki Gladius: Suzuki Gladius is essentially a refined SV650, but for the European crowd a whole new kind of riding excitement. The all new Suzuki Gladius, the new bike epitomizes impressive performance and awesome styling.
- Suzuki GSX-R1000: Suzuki GSX-R1000 has an engine that is 60mm shorter with a bore of 74.5mm and a stroke of 57.3mm, resulting in 12.8:1 compression ratio. Besides, the retuned engine also features larger titanium valves and pistons for greater durability. Suzuki GSX-R1000 is fitted with a Drive Mode selector and the Gixxer for three power delivery maps.
- Suzuki Scooter: Suzuki scooters have ruled the genre with innovative technology, precision and agility.

TVS Bikes India :
TVS is one company that stands for quality, performance and affordability. TVS bikes have catered to price conscious consumers in developing economies since the1980's. TVS 50 was TVS's first moped, followed by TVS Champ, and TVS Super Champ. TVS collaborated with world-class technology when it formed alliance with Suzuki, Japan and formed TVS Suzuki. India`s top favorite scooterette; the TVS Scooty, has garnered much fame from users across India.

- TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS: TVS Motors Apache RTR 180 with ABS has taken the segment to another level with its collaboration with Continental AG, Germany. It is equipped with Hydraulic-Electronic Control Unit and patented speed sensing technology.
- TVS Apache RTR 220: It is the 220cc variant of Apache RTR and will take on bikes like Bajaj Pulsar 220cc, Hero Honda Karizma ZMR and Yamaha R15.
- TVS Jive: TVS Jive is the clutchless bike from the TVS stables. TVS Jive has wheelbase of 1260 and uses the drum brake at the front and the rear and has a full tank capacity of 15 litres and 2 litres as reserve.
- TVS Max-R 4-Stroke: TVS Max-R 4-Stroke will be powered by a 110 cc engine, borrowed from the Jive and this initiative is mainly to comply with the Bharat II emission norms. The 4-Stroke machine is targeted at rural markets.
- TVS Streak Hybrid: TVS Streak Hybrid is a hybrid three-wheeler, unveiled at the Auto Expo in 2010. TVS Streak Hybrid will run on petrol, CNG and an electric battery. The company has claimed a mileage of 60km/L. The reclinable seat is its other specialty. The control panel is fabricated with collapsible plastic adding to its safety feature.
- TVS Wego: TVS Wego is an 110cc variomatic scooter with all new chassis and telescopic front forks and gas charged rear suspension. The revamped Scooty Pep style headlamp, position lamps on the front apron and LED tail lamps add to its appeal.

Yamaha Bikes India :

 - Yamaha SZ: Yamaha motorbikes entered India in 1985 and a decade later, in 1996, Yamaha Motors began a joint venture with the Escorts Group. Yamaha Motor India had a phenomenal presence in the Indian market by 2001. The two-stroke, 100 cc, Yamaha RX-100 was one of the first lightweight fuel economic Japanese motorbike models in India. The current Yamaha motorbikes including the Yamaha Crux, Yamaha Alba, Yamaha G5, and Yamaha Gladiator are great buys.

The year 2010 will be a great year for bike enthusiasts , especially since a slew of bikes are slated for their debut.. The performance and market trends will depend wholly on the customer response. As the year unfolds, here is wishing that the year ahead has some great bikes to excel on the Indian terrain.

This is really an outdated and obsolete automobile website. You typed suzuki and put tvs logo. First, you should know that Suzuki and TVS are two different companies. Get your facts updated and update them correctly.
